Very nice courtyard with old chestnut trees, away from the tourist mile at the town hall. Quaint building, apparently owner-managed. Ordinary schnitzel menu with daily specials. Soup: perfect. Side salad: apparently homemade dressing. I am glad. Chanterelle cream sauce with bread dumplings: The dumplings were delicious and apparently also homemade. Chanterelles impeccable. Salmon plate with toast and horseradish, ok as expected. Neat draft beer. A star deduction because the waitress was overloaded. What REALLY wasn't up to her, she ran her heels off, a larger group had come around the same time, not necessarily to be expected for a Sunday evening. Still, my food came out too cold on the table. And one euro to our disadvantage on the bill. (We didn't complain because that was clearly under stress.) Conclusion: If I'm ever in Weilburg again, I won't even look for another store. Everywhere we passed, the greasy smell of the expected concept gastronomy or fries and pizza.

In the somewhat hidden, old restaurant, there are very tasty dishes at reasonable prices. The somewhat older lady, who also likes to serve the guests in the beer garden, takes great care of the guests.

Good home-style cooking with German dishes as in the past with mother Very friendly service. Had the Wiener schnitzel and the meatloaf. Was very good and very plentiful. You can sit comfortably in the beer garden or in the inn.

We were in Weilburg for a short trip and found this good restaurant. The service was super friendly to the children too ... the food was freshly prepared and tasty ... price performance was okay ... unfortunately I have to deduct 1 star but only because of the non-compliance with distance rules ...

The service was unique. We were allowed in front of the opening and were served super fast. Food was plentiful and very good. When we are back, we will definitely come back. Thank you so much!

A nice restaurant in the old town of Weilburg. Inside homey and cozy (some call it dark), outside a cozy little beer garden under a big old chestnut. The restaurant is not perfect, e.g. There are cracks in the plaster outside, the decoration partly weathered. But that makes for me the coziness, unlike in many modern restaurants, which often simply seem sterile. This house has been standing since 1759, and it shows, it has charm. The nice service, an elderly lady (probably even the boss ?!), fits perfectly with her warm and family manner here. The food went fast, the Garpunkte were met exactly and it tasted great. The steaks are from Argentinean cattle, as the menu says fresh and not frozen, a taste experience. The loin were superzart, the mushroom sauce tasted great. The Swiss Rösti totally crispy and delicious, the side salad consisted of a variety of different salads (Frizee, wax beans, carrots, cabbage, radish, radish ...) with fresh herbs, was fresh and also very delicious. Conclusion: we will gladly come again.

Environment is good! The staff is very considerate and friendly. Food is delicious! An enjoyable lunch overall :)
